Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Three Kingdoms Survivors (“3K Survivors”, “we”, “us”) and its partners collect when you visit 3ksurvivors.com or play the game, and the choices you have.
Effective date: 30 October 2026

Who we are

3K Survivors is an independent game developer based in Hong Kong and the operator of 3ksurvivors.com. For any privacy question or request, write to privacy@3ksurvivors.com.

The short version

  • You do not need an account. We have no user database.
  • Your game progress is saved only in your own browser.
  • The website and game show ads from Google, which uses cookies and similar technologies.
  • If you buy the Warlord Edition, Stripe processes the payment. We never see your card number.

Information stored on your device

The game stores the following in your browser’s local storage. It stays on your device and is never sent to us:

  • Game saves: your heroes, levels, skills, items, gold and progress.
  • Settings: sound, graphics, controls and similar options.
  • Language: the language you chose for the site and game.
  • License token: if you bought the Warlord Edition, a signed token that proves the purchase, together with the email address used at checkout so you can see which purchase is active.

Our edge server also sets a cookie named tks_geo containing only your two-letter country code (for example “JP”), derived from your IP address by our host, Cloudflare. It is used to choose the language of the page on your first visit. You can delete all of this at any time by clearing this site’s data in your browser; note that this also deletes your saves unless you exported a backup.

Information we do not collect

We do not ask for your name, we do not run user accounts and we do not keep a database of players. We do not sell personal information. Your save data is not uploaded anywhere.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

We use Google AdSense and Google’s ad serving to show ads on this website and in the game. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites, and to measure ads and prevent fraud. Google’s use of advertising cookies, including the DoubleClick cookie, enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.

If you opt out, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you. Players who own the Warlord Edition do not see ads in the browser where it is active.

Consent in the EEA, UK and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, consent for cookies and personalised ads is collected through Google’s certified consent management platform (CMP) before any advertising cookies are used. You can choose to accept, reject or manage your choices, and you can change your decision at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link that the consent message provides. If you do not consent, Google may show non-personalised or limited ads.

Analytics

We may use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit the site and which pages are useful, using aggregated, pseudonymous statistics. Google Analytics uses cookies, and in the EEA, UK and Switzerland it is only used in line with your consent choices. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Payments (Stripe)

The Warlord Edition is sold through Stripe Checkout. When you buy it, you enter your payment details directly on Stripe’s secure page; we never see or store your full card number. Stripe shares with us the email address you entered and the last 4 digits and brand of the card, together with the amount and date. We use these only to give you your license, to let you restore the purchase on another browser (email plus last 4 digits), to handle refunds and support, and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Stripe’s own use of data is described in the Stripe Privacy Policy.

Hosting (Cloudflare)

The website and game are hosted on Cloudflare. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, in order to deliver the site, keep it secure and protect it from abuse. Cloudflare keeps such logs only for a limited time. See the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.

Children

Three Kingdoms Survivors is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. In line with the US Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, and we do not knowingly allow them to make purchases. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact privacy@3ksurvivors.com and we will delete it.

Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA)

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to correct it, to delete it, to object to or restrict its processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. California residents have the right to know, to delete, to correct and to opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information; we do not sell personal information, and you can limit ad personalisation with the links above. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.

To make a request, email privacy@3ksurvivors.com. For purchase data, include the email used at checkout so we can find it. We answer within 30 days. You may also complain to your local data protection authority. Our legal bases are consent (for ads and analytics cookies where required), performance of a contract (for purchases) and legitimate interests (for keeping the site secure).

Retention and transfers

Data on your device stays until you delete it. Purchase records are kept by Stripe for as long as required for tax, accounting and refund purposes. Our partners may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States, under appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the effective date at the top. Important changes will also be noted on the home page.
