Everything you need for your first run, in about three minutes.
The stone panel at the bottom works like Diablo II. The red globe on the left is your life and the blue globe on the right is Musou. The gold bar above the panel is experience. The left button shows your main skill and the right one is Musou. In the middle is the potion belt. Above the panel are buttons for the character sheet, inventory, skill tree and map. Your battle bar of active skills sits top left; act, kills and gold sit top right.

Each hero has five trees. Skills in lower rows need a higher level and a point in the skill above. Points in one skill often raise another skill’s damage (synergy), so focus a tree rather than spreading thin. Up to 8 active skills fight on the battle bar; passives always work.

White items are plain, blue have 1–2 affixes, gold have 3–5, green belong to a set and tan are unique. Red items in your bag need a higher level or a different weapon type. Drag items between the bag, stash and equipment slots, or right-click (double-tap on phones) to equip or take off. Hover an item to see it next to what you wear, with every stat change marked in green or red in the left column. In Options you can limit auto-pickup to magic items and better.

Healing draught restores life, spirit draught refills Musou, rejuvenation does both and war wine gives +50% damage and +20% speed for 10 seconds. Press 1–4 to drink. A new hero starts with 2 healing draughts, and your belt is kept from act to act.
Shrines appear away from you, so roam the field: an arrow at the screen edge points to the nearest one. Walk into a shrine for a 60-second blessing shown over your hero’s head: Valor (+50% damage), Iron (−40% damage taken), Wisdom (+50% experience), Wind (speed and faster skills), Fortune (double gold, more magic find), Spirit (Musou), Mastery (+2 to all skills), Blaze (fireballs) or a Healing Well. Treasure chests burst into loot when you reach them. Blue champion packs and gold-named officers such as Hua Xiong, Gao Shun or Xiahou Dun carry powers like Fire Enchanted or Stone Skin; their name and life show at the top of the screen like in Diablo II.
If your life reaches zero you keep your level, skills, items and potions, but half the gold you picked up in that attempt is lost. Choose Rise again to restart the same act. Nothing is ever reset to level 1.
Press Tab to cycle the map: a full-screen overlay, a small corner map, then off. It shows ground you have explored, enemies, loot on the ground and your hero.
Between acts you return to camp, where you can switch heroes and use waypoints to replay any act you have reached. Every hero has their own save, so you can level all six.
The game saves in this browser only, with no server or database. Your hero saves automatically every few seconds during battle, when each act starts and when you leave to camp. To move to another device, open Saves in the game, export a backup file or copy the backup code, then import it on the other device.
